About

We are the Junior League of Auburn-Opelika

JLAO is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Our members welcome all women who value the mission of JLAO to join us. We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations, and communities. Above all else, our goal is to promote social change. By equipping members with community-based education and leadership training, we are giving local women the tools to positively impact Auburn and Opelika.

Strength in Numbers

Established in 1998, the local chapter of JLAO is one of over 140 Junior Leagues in the world and are members of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI). We are in contact with women across the globe to support our own learning and growth as civic and community leaders.

Help Us Lead
